What is TESLAChair™

How does TESLAChair™ work?
FMS technology works to stimulate the muscles, inducing supramaximal contractions. This magnetic stimulation can penetrate deeply into nervous structures by creating intense, rapidly changing magnetic fields. FMS triggers motoric nerves and excites muscle contraction, thus strengthening the muscles and building the muscle volumes of the treated areas. It allows stimulation of deep muscle structures which cannot be reached by other modalities.
Two applicators that generate FMS are built in the seat and backrest of TESLAChair™. You simply sit in the chair, fully clothed and, depending on the areas to treated, the applicators work on your pelvic floor and/or lumbar areas. It is a simple, painless and non-invasive 30-minute treatment.
TESLAChair™ for Pelvic Areas and Repair of Incontinence
The pulsed magnetic field generated by TESLAChair™ causes the muscles of the pelvic floor to contract. This reactivates the pelvic floor muscles and renews its ability to do Kegel exercises. This therapy is suitable for all kinds of urinary and faecal incontinence. FMS also helps sexual dysfunction and chronic pain in the pelvic region and lumbar spine. The magnetic stimulation results in increased strength and endurance for the sphincter and pelvic floor muscles.
TESLAChair™ for Lower Back
When you are suffering lower back pain, it may be difficult to effectively exercise. TESLAChair™ is a painless and effective treatment for your lumbar. Through the applicator on the chair backrest, FMS induces muscle contractions, accelerates circulation and revives muscle strength. It is like exercising the muscles but without undue stress on your lumbar.

Clinical Study Results
The graph shows the results of therapy using the TESLAChair™after 16 treatment sessions. The results were collected in three independent centres with 160 female patients. Thirty-six women were treated for urge urinary incontinence (UUI), 42 women were treated for mixed urinary incontinence (MUI), 61 women were treated for stress urinary incontinence (SUI) and 21 women were treated for urinary incontinence after childbirth. Each TESLAChair™ session takes 30 minutes. It is a walk-in, walk-out treatment: painless, non-invasive, no downtime, without any known side effects. You can return to normal routine after the session.
Q4: What do I need to prepare for my treatment?
Before you start the TESLAChair™ treatment, you will be asked to fill in a health form to ascertain your suitability of undertaking the treatment. Contraindications to this treatment can be found on this webpage. Please contact us if you are not sure if this treatment is for you.
It is recommended to drink plenty of water after the treatment.
Q5: What should I wear for the treatment?
You are fully clothed, sitting up comfortably in the chair throughout the session. Active wear or gym clothes are most suitable. It is important that there is no metal parts on the treatment areas, such as metal studs in pants or body jewellery. Keys, watches and mobile phones will be put away during the treatment.

TESLAChair™ treatments are to build stronger pelvic floor and lower back muscles. Most clients indicate that they feel the difference just after the first session. Results are cumulative and multiple sessions are required to restore your muscle strengthen and make them work effectively again. We recommend a total course of 6-12 treatments, carried out 2-3 times a week, with at least one day break in between. Depending on the severity of the problems and the weakness of existing muscles, some may need more treatments and an on-going maintenance plan. Kegel exercises are recommended home care.
